David Christie
Director
David was educated at the 5* Royal Hotel in Durban South Africa. He has over 12 years in the hotel industry, holding positions such as Asst Projects Manager, General Manager, Operations Manager, Banqueting Manager & Food & Beverage Manager in some of Southern Africa’s and Ireland’s most prestigious properties.For the Past 6 Years David has been working in The Leisure Nightclub Industry as A Risk Manager / Claims Handler to mitigate and strengthen the defence of Formal claims brought against various leading companies. David brings his business background from hospitailty and risk management to strenghten this core area of FAD Christie & Co in the future.
Colin van Zyl
Product Development Director
Colin, having completed Agricultural College early in his life, ran a family farm in South Africa for 15 years. He then went on to run his own Jewellery and Diamond Business for 16 years. For the past decade, Colin has been a sales Exec for Marine 3005, distributing in South Africa. Colin has extreme confidence in Marine 3005 being used as a Fire Suppression Liquid in National Parks, Forests, Farmers fire Breaks on their Boundaries and local Municipalities in their Fire Engines. Due to the very nature of Marine 3005 and its Eco Friendly mineral composition, Colin decided to join up with FAD Christie & Co to assist in the distribution of the product in Europe and bring to the table his in-depth knowledge of Marine 3005 and the positive benefits on the environment.
Other key areas that Colin will be focusing on for the business will be the introduction of Marine 3005 to reduce Air & Dust polution, the treatment of sewerage systems with another ground breaking product and lastly the replacement of sodium chloride by another exciting product to reduce the current environmental impact and damage caused to the national roads.
Fraser Donaldson
Director
Fraser was educated at the Henley school of Hotel Management, he gained over 25 Years of hospitality experience with in Hotels, Restaurants, bars and Nightclubs. He set up his own Consultancy company (FAD Dining Rooms Ltd) in 2006 to help new hospitality companies get opened and established. In his later years he concentrated his efforts and thoughts on the legal aspect of business and in particular the risk management side of business, which is what brought him to FAD Christie and Co today. "Being part of the UK distribution of Marine 3 is exciting as it is new, but to be at the forefront of some ground breaking technology is just fascinating, along with challenging" say's Fraser.
Fraser was nominated and Won in 2014 the "Newsquest" Businessman of the Year award for Essex region.
Phil Baker
Sales & Marketing
Director
With a long history in sales and marketing Phil has been successfully
involved in the uk 's financial services industry working with both
commercial and individual clients for the last 3decades . Phil has also
served as both county and borough councillor over the past 14 years
involving responsible positions within essex county council and brentwood
borough council and retired from politics in 2015 . His knowledge of dealing
with both the private and public sector in developing strong personal
relationships is seen as a great asset for Fad Christie & Co going forward
